Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Liquid Developer to join our team! If you have a passion for building and customizing eCommerce stores using Shopify’s Liquid templating language, and enjoy creating engaging and high-converting shopping experiences, we'd love to have you onboard.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores using Shopify's Liquid templating language.
  • Implement custom themes and modify existing Shopify themes to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers to turn mockups into responsive Shopify themes.
  • Build and integrate custom functionalities and apps within the Shopify platform.
  • Optimize Shopify stores for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores and apps.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive designs for a seamless user experience across devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, Liquid best practices, and eCommerce trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Shopify's Liquid templating language.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Solid understanding of Shopify's platform, APIs, and ecosystem, including Shopify Plus.
  • Ability to create custom Shopify themes from scratch or modify existing ones.
  • Knowledge of Shopify SEO optimization and best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Shopify Apps (custom apps or third-party app integration).
  • Familiarity with Shopify Flow, Scripts, and the Shopify Plus platform.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) to enhance the store’s functionality.
  • Understanding of eCommerce analytics and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Familiarity with Shopify’s Polaris design system.
  • Knowledge of liquid code performance optimization.
